Arena emphasizes the quality at De Wolden Summersale

Zuidwolde - De Wolden Summersale, which celebrates her first lustrum on July 16th, emphasized that  in the showring, the Summersale offers a high level of quality  foals and Young showjumping horses. "We always have a very limited offer, but we strive for quality. As you can see  we are organising our fifth Summersale this year and allready  two horses are succesfull on Grand Prix level, with even the opportunity to perform in 2012 in London, I think we are on the right track”. says Jan Broek, who is the initiator of this Summersale together with Jan Schep and Wiepke van de Lageweg, which will be held on July 16th during CH De Wolden.
Among the very succesful show jumping horses, who have been sold through the Wolden Summersale, Mr. Broek is mainly talking about the eleven year old Tatjana (Niagara x Damiro), which is very succesful with Emile Karim Fares. Also Valdato (Emilion x Caretino) under Julia Kayser is constantly performing very well, and that’s why this now nine year old horse can become the anchor of the Austrian team.
 Also the offspring from Corland, Votre Dame is successful on a regular basis with Juan Andres Rodriguez  on shows on Grand Prix level. Next to it horses like Viper (VDL Atlantic x Nimmerdor) and Vertigo (Hemmingway x Aldato) are very successful. Competing in shows for seven – and eight year old show jumping horses in the USA , Vertigo has allready  booked his first successes at Grand Prixs", Jan Broek continues, who of course also would like to mention the fact that Zanzibar (Indorado x Goodtimes) is successful at international shows for young horses and that Ardanta (Cardento x Peter Pan) and Zilversprings (Silverstone VDL x Emilion) have been qualified for the World Championships at Zangersheide for the five and six year old horses. "Also keep an eye on Aajee (Lupicor x Mermus R) with Michael Greeve this year,  who has achieved several international top placings this year in competitions for six – and seven year old horses. And also Amethist D (Lupicor x Iroko) and Adamo (Lupicor x Ekstein) are performing well and were first and second last year at the Championships for six year old in Syria", says Mr.Broek.
 
Next to a small number of strictly selected Young show jumping horses, there also will be auctioned a very small number of foals with high expectations as a show jumping horse.
"It is to early to tell,  but Drogba (Cantos x Numero Uno) has been designated for the stallion test of the KWPN and Eopera VDL (Zapatero VDL x Raphael) achieved a fifth place as a foal at the National Foals Championship, which is organised during the KWPN Horsedays in Ermelo every year. Because we are extremely strict on keeping an eye on quality, I think that the Summersale in 2011 will be a big success”, says Mr. Broek
The Summersale will take place on July 16th and starts at 19.00 hours. The foals will be presented at 17.30 hours on July 16th and on July 14th the show jumping horses will be presented to the potential buyers. The show jumping horses are available for potential buyers on the day of the Summersale at the showgrounds of CH de Wolden.
